There can be no doubt that both as a solo artist and as part of The Police, Sting is an incredible songwriter and performer. So it comes as no surprise that a tribute album was commissioned, and who better to ask to produce the album then Nick Smith, who worked with Sting on previous albums and singles.
"Every Song You Make" features an impressive track listing and an array of top musicians and vocalists, including Bill Sharpe and Jill Saward of Shakatak, Chris "Snake" Davis from M People and the Eurythmics, Steve Overland from FM and a very special performance from "Hurricane" Smith on "An Englishman in New York".
The list of musicians featured is second to none. All have a credible history and to have "Hurricane" Smith come out of retirement after 20 years to perform "An Englishman In New York" is an absolute one-off! Coupled with an excellent choice of tracks, "Every Song You Make" is a truly magic album.
