Description

Dan Fogelberg (born august 1951) started his musical career at the young age of 14. He was brought up around music, with a mother trained in classical piano, and a father who directed high school bands. Fogelberg started out mainly in cover bands- his first The Clan, who covered mainly Beatles tracks. He also later covered classic hits from artists such as Cream and Muddy Waters.

After graduating from High school, Fogelberg sang mainly as a soloist, in small café’s and coffee shops. This is where his talent was discovered by Irving Azoff, who went on to manage Fogelberg. Dan went on to release two albums, the first, ‘Homefree’ which achieved minor success, but the second titled ‘Souvenirs’ which made Fogelberg in to the star he wanted to be.

After this Dan had many more gold and platinum albums, and won acclaim for his brilliant live performances. For any Fogelberg fan this album is a must!!
