Synposis

Duke Ellington (Edward Kennedy Ellington) born April 29th 1899, was considered as one of the world greatest Musicians and composers. Duke and his orchestra toured the world, notching up over 20,000 performances of his 50 year career. He performed to every one from Queen Elizabeth II and President Nixon, to the common person, and was awarded by the United States government, the highest civil honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
