Synposis
The London Rock And Roll Show was a rock and roll revival concert, held in Webley Stadium in August 1972. The show begins with a number of warm up acts singing original hits or 1950's covers, including a performance by Screaming Lord Sutch. Mick Jagger appears along the way in several non musical interludes to which he is interviewed about the performers.
The only way to finish off this experience is with an entire album of tracks by the artists featured on the DVD, not performed in the show! Listen to some of the classics, 'Roll Over Beethoven', by Chuck Berry, 'Great Balls Of Fire', by Jerry Lee Lewis, 'Flip, Flop and Fly / Shake, Rattle and Roll', By Jerry Lee Lewis, 'Everleen', by Bo Diddley and 'Hog For You', By Screaming Lord Sutch, to name only a few! The album is packed solid with 24 tracks by these amazing musicians. The perfect way to end an amazing and historic show.
