About the Artist
The premier heavy metal band, Black Sabbath, has been around in some form or another now for the better part of 40 years or so. The Tony Martin era of Black Sabbath was around for five albums, a greatest hits collection, and a live album, yet a lot of Sabbath fans are not as familiar with them as they are with recording by the band when fronted by Ozzy Osbourne, Ian Gillan, or the late great Ronnie James Dio.

Recorded live at the Hammersmith Apollo, London, on Wednesday 13 April 1994, Cross Purposes Live features some of the more classic tracks in a new form.
The excellent set list features tracks ranging from the first album all the way to the studio version of Cross Purposes. Certainly different from Dio, Gillan and Ozzy, the underrated Tony Martin is an awesome vocalist, who particularly shines on these live performances. The rhythm section is tight and Tony Iommi is in fine form and spot on with his intense guitar work.
Unquestionably a must have for all Black Sabbath Fans
